Business English
From my 15 years' experience in corporate English training, I've found out that there's usually a major challenge for companies wishing to expand internationally: their managers often struggle to communicate fluently in English.
It's a barrier that often prevents them from positioning themselves in a meeting, participating in discussions with foreign colleagues or clients, making presentations or even applying for a bilingual position.

This two-day Business English immersion course is based on active teaching methods and focuses on practical workshops and real-life situations:

- Focus on oral language practice
- Training in two phases to optimize the application of knowledge and capitalize on best practices.
- Appropriation of the content through interactive and entertaining filmed workshops, based on practical cases brought in by participants.
- Acquisition of vocabulary specific to business English.
- A maximum of 8 participants per session to guarantee speaking time.
- One of the modules focuses on intercultural communication.

Being able to pitch your project, understand what participants are saying, bounce ideas off each other, intervene at the right moment and argue your point of view is becoming crucial. What's more, since the Covid crisis, international meetings have become the norm, whether daily or weekly. Exchanging with business partners or colleagues around the world therefore requires not only the ability to express oneself in English, but also an understanding of the codes and etiquette of one's foreign counterpart.
The program “in a nutshell” :
- Unblock obstacles
- Assimilate presentation and meeting vocabulary
- Communicating assertively in English (posture, non-verbal communication)
- The elevator pitch
- Expressing agreement/disagreement
- Handling questions and objections
- Intercultural communication
Prerequisites: minimum A2 level (European Common Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR): A1 (beginner) to C2 (bilingual))
