What is an elevator pitch?

An elevator pitch is a quick summary of yourself, your idea or of the product you are selling. It should last 30” to 60” (an elevator ride) and you should be able to sell yourself, your idea or your product during that time!
The purpose of an elevator pitch is to let others know what your expertise is and how to sparkle their interest, so that they want to know more about you/what you do. In that short moment, you should be able to state who you are and what solution you can bring to solve the other's problem. Don't forget your CTA (Call To Action): conclude your pitch with a question or a proposition. A question can start a dialogue and a proposition can lead to a follow-up (a product test, a meeting, an interview, etc.).
